The aim of the project is to found and establish a further-education academy in China, based on the content of WeitBild and Konfix. Existing offers in the four content areas environment, logistics and transport, automotive as well as health are exported on the one hand and on the other hand their development is targeted. For the programme planning and offer development or adaptation, IfBE conducts a analysis of needs in the specified areas, for which culture-specific instruments are developed.
The IfBE is also responsible for scientific monitoring. The institutionalization process of the academy as well as the transnationalization processes and constitutional strategies which are taking place are examined. Hypothetically, it is assumed that transnationalisation creates a tension between standardisation and diversification, which the actors have to handle and balance. In addition, the research questions are from the research areas of demand research and programme planning, didactics of teaching/learning processes, networks and cooperation as well as development of CVET systems. The IfBE' s task is to identify the conditions for success and obstacles to the establishment of a further-education academy in China.
