Bachelor Technical Education – Vocational and Business Education

The bachelor's programme in technical education qualifies students for a teaching profession at vocational schools with the consecutive master's programme in teaching at vocational schools. The bachelor's degree enables students to work, for example, in in-company initial and further training, in associations, in chambers of industry and crafts.

Teaching at vocational schools requires a master's degree in teaching at vocational schools. At Leibniz University Hannover you can choose from six vocational specialisations and eleven teaching subjects. The combination of the vocational specialisation with the teaching subject can be freely chosen.

Vocational specialisations are: Electrical Engineering, Metal Technology, Construction Engineering, Colour Technology and Interior Design, Wood Technology and Food Science.

Teaching subjects are: Chemistry, German, English, Protestant Religion, Computer Science, Catholic Religion, Mathematics, Physics, Politics, Social/Special Education in Vocational Training, Spanish and Sports.
