1998 Master's degree in educational science with a focus on adult education and modern sinology at the Humboldt University of Berlin 1996 until 1999 Project collaborator in the pilot project "Development and testing of a vocational introduction concept for full-time pedagogical staff in confessional adult education" at the Humboldt University of Berlin 1999-2008 Scientific staff at the professorship for adult education at the Justus-Liebig-University Gießen and project collaborator in the research project "Netzwerk zur Implementation Selbstgesteuerten Lernens in bestehende Träger der Weiterbildung", funded by the Bund-Länder-Kommission 2008-2011 Scientific staff at the chair for adult education at the Humboldt University Berlin SS and WS 2009/2010 Deputy Professor of Educational Sciences with a focus on Lifelong Learning at the University of Bremen since 01.03.2011 Professor at the Chair of Adult Education at Leibniz University of Hannover -
