The aim of the project is the academic connection of the Leibniz Confucius Institute to Leibniz Universität Hannover and, associated with this, the development of sustainable concepts to expand the China competence at Leibniz Universität in order to strengthen the international profile of the university.
This has so far included, among other things:
- Conducting a needs analysis for China competence at LUH
- Development of an independent concept for the expansion of China competence at LUH
- Coordination, organisation and further development of the specially developed interdisciplinary study certificate China - Competence
- Collaboration in teaching for the interdisciplinary study certificate China - Competence
- Promotion of scientific cooperation with China through the organisation of two transdisciplinary international conferences in cooperation with LUH, LKIH and Tongji University, Shanghai.
- Promotion of scientific cooperation with China by supporting the work of the China Research Working Group under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Steffi Robak.
- Promotion of international cooperation with China by accompanying the delegation trip of the LUH presidium to Beijing and Shanghai.
- Collaboration in the extended profiling of the LKIH to link it to the teaching of the LUH
